Message From the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The principal Dr. W.A. Davis

It is a great honor for me as a founding Principal of Bright Future School to welcome you all to the 2017/18 academic year.  It has been nineteen years since Bright Future School opened its gates to serve our children. these years have not all been a walk in the cloud. Our school had to endure several setbacks and challenges but thanks to you and your continued support you have overcome.

In the Academic year 2016/17, our school was rated as one of the top schools in Ethiopia, scoring level three of the possible four levels of school standards set by the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia. Moreover, all our Students of grades 8, 10 and 12 who sat for the Regional and National Matriculations of Ethiopia passed the examinations with great results.

As you would agree, education of the youth is not only academic but holistic: having this as part of our school strategic foundation, we were able to organize two cultural exchange trips to the United States and Sweden for our students.

The Parent-Teachers' Association has done an exceptional work in the area of school support, quality assurance and involvement of the entire parents' community of the school. I thank them for their tremendous support and hope that this support will continue in this academic year.

As we prepare our twentieth-year anniversary in the year 2018, I would like to welcome all of you to take part in creating the ideal school for our children. As we say in Africa “It takes a village to raise a child.” Therefore, let us all work together to raise the next leaders of our community.

Respectfully yours,

W. A. Davis (Ph.D.)
